Try something different this summer. Summer may not bring the same excitement and difference in schedule as it did when you were a kid, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use the long days and warmer weather to try something new. Whether it’s going on hikes, going whitewater rafting or kayaking, learning to surf, becoming a better swimmer, going horseback riding or anything else you can imagine, summer doesn’t have to be a time for just our kids to expand their horizons. We need to expand ours too! Who knows, you may find a new passion that will last throughout the rest of the year as well.
