Read, study and learn every day. That’s right – unless you’re an academic or otherwise spend vast amounts of time learning as part of your job – we should all be spending at least an hour a day reading, studying and learning. This includes reading fiction and non-fiction, studying a subject we’re interested in, and learning new ways of self-improvement. It may be easy to think that as we get older, we don’t need to dedicate as much time to learning, but nothing could be further from the truth. Learning at any age gives us the knowledge to understand and navigate the world around us, to expand our ways of thinking, and to enhance our creativity and ability to react to life’s challenges – whether we’re 18 or 80.
