Plan your week on Sunday. It may seem too structured or mundane but taking 30 minutes and planning out your week on Sunday is one of the easiest things you can do to keep stress at bay. This should include both personal tasks that need to get done and work items that need to be completed or remembered. That way, you can make sure that you realistically have time for everything that you need to do and that you know when it’s going to get done. Having this plan in place means that you can hit the ground running Monday morning and every day without having to figure out first what it is you need to do. You can also set aside your last 10 minutes of the workday to update your plan to allow for anything unexpected that’s come up or that didn’t get completed. Take my word for it, this small investment of time will help you to be more productive and to feel less harried throughout the week.
